At Ricky, giving back has always been at the heart of who we are. This year, we’re proud to share three milestones that reflect not only our values but also the incredible community we’re privileged to be a part of. From our long-standing Sales Day tradition to new partnerships and product endorsements, 2025 is shaping up to be a year of purpose, pride, and progress. 

 

Sales Day 2025: Mark Your Calendar 

For nearly three decades, Ricky has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation. Since our very first Sales Day, together we’ve raised more than $343,000 to support sick kids and their families — and we’re not slowing down. 

This year marks the 29th year of partnership, and on Friday 5 December we’ll once again dedicate Sales Day to making a difference. More than just a date on the calendar, Sales Day represents the power of our community, our partners, and our team to drive real change. 

With last year’s record-setting effort behind us, our goal is to go even higher in 2025. Stay tuned for more details on how you can get involved, and be sure to lock the date in your diary. 

 

Welcoming the Sapphire Partnership 

We are delighted to announce that Ricky has officially become a Sapphire Partner of the Queensland Children’s Hospital Foundation. 

Following the opening of our first Queensland warehouse in 2024, this partnership reflects both our growing presence in the Sunshine State and our commitment to giving back in the communities where we live and work. Joining the Sapphire family allows us to deepen our impact and continue supporting causes that matter most. 

We’re honoured to contribute to the incredible work being done at the Queensland Children’s Hospital and look forward to the difference we can create together. 

 

Australian Skin Cancer Foundation Endorsement 

Our dedication to protection extends beyond textiles — it’s about protecting people. That’s why we’re proud to share that the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation (ASCF) has endorsed our leading range of shade and Sun Control fabrics, including Outlook, Skyline, and Docril. 

Designed to provide durable, high-quality protection from Australia’s harsh sun, our fabrics are trusted by architects, builders, and homeowners alike. This endorsement is not only a recognition of quality but also a meaningful continuation of the partnerships we’ve built previously with the Melanoma Institute.
