How long have you been with Ricky Richards?
I have been with the Ricky family for just over 7 months now.
In words that potential customers, who know nothing about this business will understand, what is your role?
My role with Ricky Richards is… Business Development Manager for NSW and ACT. I am dedicated to help my customers, whether they are directly purchasing from Ricky Richards or indirectly through wholesalers. To provide honest advice, information and the tools to help them achieve their goals and importantly service that is second to none. Offer training and knowledge in the Window Furnishings Industry.
What are your professional strengths in this role?
My strengths with this role is that I have had over 15 years experience in the Industry. I am able to listen carefully to my customers needs and try to deliver these needs or find solutions to any problems they may have. I believe I have very strong relationships and a varied customer network which I can point any new potential customers in the right direction.
Thinking back, what was one job that you did really well that you know made a big difference to the results achieved for the customer or your team?
A very recent example is…An existing account customer (wholesaler) wanted to make life a little easier and simpler for his retail customers when it comes to what fabric can be used on different types of awnings. I quickly put together a simple graph with pictures of different awning types alongside the fabrics Ricky Richards offer. This takes the guess work out for new potential ‘retail customers who expand their offering into awnings. This has been gratefully received by all. This simple tool is now available for all Ricky Richards customers and Sales Team Nation wide.
If there was one thing that you wished people could understand about the way you fulfil your role, what would it be?
Well…Customers that know me well, can honestly say that they know that I will do whatever I can, whenever I can to meet or fulfill their needs and requests. Essentially, I’m here to help their business.
What do you hope to achieve in your role at Ricky Richards?
I hope to put my customers and new potential customers both direct and in direct, to have Ricky Richards and myself as an organization and person of ‘destination’ and front of mind when it comes to Quality Market Leading Products, Service, Professionalism, Knowledge and advice. I am here to help.
