Maree juggles four roles at Ricky Richards. She’s our HR Manager, Payroll Officer, Worker’s Compensation Officer and Work Health and Safety. It’s a tough gig, but Maree pours her heart and soul into it. Her work is all about people, and she adds so much to the Ricky Richards’ culture with her programs and special events.
How long have you been with Ricky Richards?
In words that potential customers, who know nothing about this business will understand, what is your role?
HR Manager – I basically wear 4 hats in the business, HR, payroll, workers comp and work health and safety.
What are your professional strengths in this role?
People and culture.
Thinking back, what was one job that you did really well that you know made a big difference to the results achieved for the customer or your team?
Promoting our family and fun culture through health and well-being week, international food days, superhero day and donations from the team to support the Foster Care Angels. Implementing documented policies and procedures and delivering training to all employees.
If there was one thing that you wished people could understand about the way you fulfill your role, what would it be?
It can be a really tough gig some days but a rewarding one at the same time. I put my heart and passion into my role.
