How long have you been with Ricky Richards?
In words that potential customers, who know nothing about this business will understand, what is your role?
As Victorian / Tasmanian Account Manager I am responsible for sales of all products to the industrial textiles market.
What are your professional strengths in this role?
My professional strengths are:
A. Over 40 years experience working in the plastics industry and industrial textile market.
B. Over 23 years management experience working in positions such as State Sales Manager, National Sales Manager & National Product Manager.
C. Ability to foresee trends and changes within the industrial textiles market.
D. Excellent customer relationship skills.
Thinking back, what was one job that you did really well that you know made a big difference to the results achieved for the customer or your team?
Offer product knowledge support for all our internal sales staff. On a regular basis, I offer advice on all products uses and applications along with assistance on customer inquiries and complaints regarding all products in our range.
If there was one thing that you wished people could understand about the way you fulfil your role, what would it be?
Empathy for the increasing pricing competition we as account managers are up against every day with more emphasis placed now on price rather than product quality by our customers.
What do you hope to achieve in your role at Ricky Richards?
To be able to walk away from my job knowing I have left a solid business foundation/relationship with my customers and Ricky Richards and that they will continue to support RR well into the future.
