1.In words that potential customers, who know nothing about this business will understand, what is your role?

As Operations and Supply chain manager, my role is to ensure that the day to day connection between the warehouse and supply chain is actively working to deliver the best possible outcomes for both internal and external customers.

 

2.What are your professional strengths in this role?

I have an extensive background and longevity in similar industry and a great understanding of how to create, build and implement change to deliver best practice and world class results.

 

3.Thinking back, what was one job that you did well that you know made a big difference to the results achieved for the customer or your team?

I am a strong believer that for any role and for the person behind an expectation, you can deliver a strong outcome when supported to do so. I believe that one of my key strengths is to offer the right type and level of support to help inspire the best from all stakeholders. This has been demonstrated within my working career in achieving improved turn around and quality-based results.

 

4.If there was one thing that you wished people could understand about the way you fulfil your role, what would it be?

My drive to succeed can sometimes be confused with a push to deliver the undeliverable. Unless we push for extraordinary, we will only ever deliver ordinary!

 

5.What do you hope to achieve in your role at Ricky Richards?

My goal is to deliver a culture and practices that work harmoniously to deliver the best outcomes for all stakeholders. What does this look like;

– we build safety and respect into all that we do,

– we spend less to make more,

– we become a family that works together and delivers as one, rather than as individuals,

– we become more customer focused around internal and external expectations,

– Build a world class facility and practices to suit.
