Business Development Manager

We are on the search for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our friendly team. The right person must be a hunter for new business who is dedicated and passionate about the development and distribution of our wide format print media products into Victoria and Tasmania.

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual. This role is located in Victoria and is an autonomous role. You will be required to work from your home-based office. You will be provided with a company laptop, mobile phone and car allowance.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven track record in new business development
  • Business to business selling (minimum of 3 years)
  • CRM experience
  • High degree of self discipline and motivation to work unsupervised from a home office environment

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Identify new business opportunities and follow up activity to close the deal
  • Maintain, develop and build on existing relationships
  • Negotiating directly with business owners and senior stakeholders
  • Ensure timely and proper follow up for all assigned leads and ongoing quotes, projects and general business
  • Work with sales department to develop solutions for customers
  • Participate in industry events
  • Use of CRM system to manage sales process and develop opportunities
  • Travel to Tasmania to pursue sales
  • Travel to Head Office in Sydney for induction, training, team meetings and company events.

The right person must have drive, determination, integrity, good organisational and time management skills.

Computer, oral and written skills essential.

Industry experience highly desirable.

Customer Service Officer

Ricky Richards has been supplying the Australian industry with the highest quality industrial textiles for over 30 years. We have an opportunity available for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our team.

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor the right person will be a motivated individual with previous experience in delivering exceptional customer service. This person will have a great ear for listening, good investigation skills and be passionate about team work. We are looking for a STAR who thrives on providing exceptional customer service.

About the role:

  • The person will come on board to join a small team of customer service officers to increase the level of customer service in the business.
  • You will be dealing with customers enquiries over the phone and via email.
  • The role will also involve data entry and administration.
  • Product training will be provided.
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • At least 2 years previous customer service experience
  • An exceptional phone manner
  • The ability to work unsupervised and part of a team
Previous Pronto experience desirable.

This role is a permanent full time role.

Warehouse Coordinator/Stores Person

We have an opportunity available for an experienced warehouse person to join our team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager the right person will be a driven and motivated individual with previous experience in a warehouse environment.

This role is a general all-rounders position, duties include:

  • Dispatch
  • Inventory
  • General warehouse duties including manual handling
The right person will have good knowledge of computer systems. Previous Pronto knowledge desirable.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • At least 2 years’ warehouse experience
  • Forklift licence essential
  • 1 year forklift driving experience
  • The ability to work unsupervised and part of a team
Ricky Richards Sales Pty Ltd supports workplace flexibility – this position is a full time permanent role with the option to work a 9-day fortnight.
